"The instruction booklet is clear and concise, starting with the core philosophy of the Micro Fence."

The Micro Fence Edge-Guide easily mounts on your router to guide the cutter parallel to a straight or curved edge. Each unit comes with our basic micrometer edge-guide unit, 7" & 12" stainless steel guide shafts, (interchangeable), both shallow and deep-profile wood sub-fences, half round inserts for curved and circular work, extension spacers for fence placement at or beyond center collet, our decimal equivalency chart and the appropriate mounting bar, pins and screws to fit your router. Each MFC also comes with a twelve-page instructional booklet and your choice of a informational CD or Video. Micro Fence Mounting Bars are the key to fitting any router on the market. Use our Router Reference Chart to order the correct model to fit your router.
With the Edge-Guide you can do all these jobs with remarkable efficiency and repeatability: Dadoing, Rabbetting, Mortising, V-Grooving, Slotting / Veining, Drawer Construction, Flutes, Inlay Work, and many more routing operations.

Edge-Guide Accessories:
Sub-Base Assemblies provide points of attachment that allow Micro Fence to be used with laminate trimmers. (An unbeatable combination for light-duty applications like inlay work, V-Grooving, and hinge or lock installations). All sub-base assemblies require a Model "A" Mounting Bar.
Stop Collar Sets enable you to preset or "memorize" fence positions for repetitive cut requirements such as flutes, (in photo at left) or mortise and tenon joints. Once a cutting position is determined, it can be "marked" with a stop and later repeated without having to re-measure.

The Center Bar & Outboard Levelers Kit can be used with the Micro Fence Edge Guide to cut small circles. (Our standard Circle Jig covers 6" to 48" plus). A Center Bar attaches to the edge guide and provides a center pin that can be positioned as close as you wish from the bit. (Circles from 1/2" to approx. 12") Applications include guitar rosettes, plinth blocks, toy wheels and components, and hardware installations. |
The Micro Fence "Off-Fence" Mortising Kit provides an aluminum secondary fence that opposes the Micro Fence Edge Guide and "entraps" the work piece, making it virtually impossible to wander from the edge of the material, (even when making multiple passes). Operations such as blind or "stopped-off" mortises, (most efficiently cut with a plunge router), and Soss hinge installations are within the scope of this accessory
Our Stop Clamps provide positive "stops" or limits for cutting operations like hinge, lock and fluting operations. The clamps can accommodate material thicknesses from 0" to 2 3/8." |
