The "shooting board" is a full sheet of particle board with two "ears" added on to support the curved shelf blanks. The ends of the shelves were pre-mitred to the appropriate angle to achieve the 16' dia. requirement. (This angle was determined from the original full-scale template that we made before starting the project).
